Incarnation

This didn’t quite make it into the homily for tomorrow night, but it seemed to want to be shared as a devotion on this, the last night of Advent:

“Incarnation”

What a mystery to behold,

And to lay bare; 

Light shines in darkness,

And Life enters death;

The Old Adam’s air

Now gasps a first breath.
